Peter is 11 months old

Peter, 

You are 11 months old!

You are such a joyful and happy baby! This first picture is SO you! You smile SO much and we adore you! You flash that adorable smile anytime you see one of your siblings or dad - but ESPECIALLY mom! (She loves that!) 

You got your first and second tooth. Your bottom 2 teeth. We're also seeing your top incisors coming in, just like Abby - before your top two teeth, but they are taking their sweet time to cut through and you are Feeling it for sure! On top of that you have had SO many colds this past month - and few months. It seems like as soon as one would end another one would start right on it's tale! You got your first ear infection - no surprise, from all those colds - so antibiotics did the trick for that. But then came some REALLY bad diaper rashes. And with teething on top of that, you have been a sad mister. But you still smile so much despite it all!

You are getting so big in so many aspects. You're hair is growing SO long and every once in a while we see cute little curls in the back! You are feeding yourself so well lately and mostly prefer grown up food over baby foods. You are crawling like crazy ALL over the place and are into EVERYTHING! Your current favorite things to do are get into the bathroom drawers and cupboards and empty everything out, pull all the ziplock bags out of their boxes and off the shelves in the kitchen, and knock the toilet paper roll down and pull all the toilet paper off the roll! You are putting all that practice of walking around the furniture to good use. You stood all on your own not holding on to anything for a few seconds and also took your first few steps ALL by yourself right before you turned 11 months old! You are just like a little sponge and soak in everything you see!

You celebrated your first Christmas and got ball pit balls from Santa that you love to play with and put in your mouth! You also got to meat Santa! You had your first New Years and got to stay up late with the big kids for a few hours. We made Tempura for New Years Eve dinner and you ate it all up! Things are still pretty crazy with Covid these days but our family has been ok. Crossing our fingers you don't get covid again since you've already had it. Things were pretty quiet for New Years because it seemed that Christmas was a big germ fest and everyone got sick! 

You are still the loviest little baby. You've started giving great big open mouthed kisses and we LOVE it! Every time you hear the tub water start you stop and then crawl as fast as you can into the bathroom. You love to get in the tub but you don't love to be washed anymore. You adore your siblings and love to be a part of what they are doing. They make you laugh and giggle so much! Happy 11 months Peter!

Celebrating Swedish Christmas on Santa Lucia Day (Dec. 13th) You were a star boy and we visited with Sister Ouzounian who is from Sweden.

Your First Movie in the Theater

Traditional New Years Tempura Dinner. You got to stay up late (er, you were still in bed by 8!) with the big kids!

You despise that crib and scream every time you are put in it. So, we just took it down!
