September is one of my FAVORITE months of the year. I'm not sure if that's because this is the month I was born, or because it's the month I met my husband, or because it is the introduction into my favorite season. Maybe it's a combination of all three. All I know is that it flew by! Here is a little recap of our September!
I came home to these beautiful flowers from my amazing husband after work the day before my birthday. He is such a romantic. Yellow and Red roses for friendship and love. Two of the things that make up the bulk of our marriage and relationship!
He also made me dinner that night. His own homemade 'Tour of Italy'. How cute is he huh!?
The next day, my actual birthday, was wonderful. Sorry for the lack of pictures, I forgot it everywhere we went. Garhett got up and went to work but took half the day off so he could spend time with me.
We went to the exhibit at the Leonardo '101 Inventions that changed the world'. Then we went to an early dinner at Tepenyaki! Oh man! I LOVE that place! Garhett had to go to class that night so while he was gone my parents and sister, Janie, came up and took me to get Nelson's frozen custard! It was such a great birthday.
The next day I went to lunch with my mom and sisters. It was so fun to all be together and have some girl time. They made me a cake and cute Lillian helped me blow out the candles!

Since school is back and my husband is super busy ALL the time, and I'm....not. I've started exploring some new hobbies. I decided to make some pillows for our couch to match the cute quilt my mom made us for our wedding. Quite honestly, it's my first sewing project so I was pretty proud of myself.

September also brought the blessing of my newest niece, Clarissa Jardine! Here are some cute shots of the big day and her proud parents!

Last but not least, although September is one of my favorite months, this September has been one of the hardest for us. This is why I have to pay tribute to this wonderful man!
My husband is an incredible man. I thought he was perfect before we got married but now, being married for almost a year, I have learned that I knew nothing of his goodness and love when we got married. I now know how my husband will react when hard times come.
He is completely adoring and he sacrifices so much for me and always puts my needs above his own. He is my strength when I have none left. He is positive and encouraging. He is so full of faith and has enough to fill me when I am lacking! I couldn't have asked for a better man to be by my side through the thick and thin. I love him so much and am so grateful and blessed to have him forever!
