Peter!
You are 2 months old!
We can't believe how fast you are growing. You weigh 10 lbs. and 22 in. long. You have lost your newborn look and look like a regular old baby complete with tiny little thigh rolls and a little double chin. You are still a champion eater and particularly love to eat during the night.
You have realized that you LOVE to be held and will sleep so soundly in the baby carrier or in our arms but the minute we put you down in bed you are a wake. You'll do ok in the rocker and the mamaroo too. but you just love to be held.
You don't have too much of a schedule yet, typical 4th child syndrome. You sometimes take long naps an sometimes take little cat naps. You are a night owl though. You'll stay up till 10 or 11pm before you are asleep for the night.
You are having more awake periods and starting to interact more with everyone. You are just barely starting to babble and coo and you had your first SMILE!! It was after a long morning when mommy was away with the other kids. Dad tried everything to get you to sleep but you were so upset. Then Mommy got home and you were ALL smiles and happy and calm as can be! That sure made mommy smile too!
And speaking of mommy smiles, you are THE BIGGEST mommy's boy! Mom and you have such a special bond. You are the very happiest and calmest when you are held by Mommy. It's like you know her better or something. ;)
You had quite a few firsts this month. You celebrated you first St. Patrick's day and you had the cutest little green sleeper to dress for the occasion. This is the first year that we Almost caught the Leprechaun! You also celebrated your first Easter. We got a pretty good picture of you in your new chair from the Easter Bunny. You also met Uncle Chris for the first time and got to be held by you great Granny too!
