Russell,
You are 9 months old! We can't believe how time is flying! You seem to be growing faster than any of our other babies! SLOW DOWN PLEASE!
At 9 months you weigh 18.6 pounds and are 27 in. tall. You are in the 15th% for height and are a little above average for weight for height (you eat whatever you want and you're not on the move yet!)
You are still a calm easy going little guy. You really don't care about your binky, but you'll take it sometimes. You have found comfort in touching soft things. You love to play with your hair as your drinking your milk and touching a soft blanket as you fall asleep. It is the sweetest little thing!
You are starting to get a little personality and we're learning that you have a feisty side. If you are playing with or eating something and it gets taken away, you will definitely let us know! You will make a funny coughing noise when you are excited and shake your head back and forth!
You are starting to eat more and more regular foods and still love anything we put in your mouth! You just barely cut your first little baby tooth (bottom) and another close behind! With your teeth coming in and day light savings you had a pretty rough few weeks. It made mom and dad SO appreciative of those and miss those nights when you did sleep all night.
You are sitting like a champ but really don't move beyond that. You want to move and you wine and circle your little feet and hands around and reach as far as you can whenever there is something you want that is not with in reach, but no crawling or pulling of on things yet. You scoot like a champ when you're on your back though!
You celebrated your first Thanksgiving. We had a great dinner and then spent the weekend together with everyone who loves you the most!
We sure love you sweet boy, and can't wait to celebrate your first Christmas with you coming up!

We had a blast over Thanksgiving weekend. We went to Grandma Cait's to eat and went to a movie the next day with Grandma Mimi and Grandpa. You loved eating popcorn with Grandpa!
Then we decorated the house for Christmas, stared at the Christmas lights, read Christmas Stories and went to see the lights on Temple Square!
This has been a month for the books!
