Dear Abby,
You are simply adorable! We can't believe that you are 3 years old. You have become such an independant little girl. You are so smart and energetic; sweet and loving; mischievious and clever. We love you!
At your 3 year old check up you weighed 31 lbs and were 36.75 in tall. You recieved the flu shot and didn't even cry - you were so brave!
You are a champion jumper and love to climb, jump, and explore on and in everything. Your favorite game to play is hide and seek. Lately you have been SO into playing 'baby-doll'. You take your little baby-doll everywhere, tuck her into bed, give her bottles of milk, and change her diaper and get her dressed. It is so sweet to watch you take such good care of her. You are into all things princesses. Your favorite is Little mermaid and that is what you want to be for Halloween. You love watching Princess Sophia, Tangled, Little Mermaid and Brave. You like to make bead necklaces and put puzzles together. You are getting so good at concentrating and figuring things out.You LOVE to read stories and to sing. We love hearing your little made up songs and we LOVE to see you sit down and read a story to yourself (from memory).
You are fiercly independant and want to do everything 'by-your-self!' You like to pick out your own clothes and put on your own shoes. You like to do anything you can do by yourself and whatever you can't do you sure try hard before you ask for help. With that independance you are not afraid to try new things and to meet new people. You are still a stubborn little thing and are having trouble lately when you don't get what you want and you are still a picky little eater but are getting better at trying new things. You have outgrown your naps AND your binky (now that you are 3 and a big girl, plus the doctor said 'no more binkies').
You are so sweet and loving. You love to come and rub Mom's and Dad's shoulders when we've had a long day or to go grab the lotion and rub our feet. You are the first one to run into Thomas's room when he wakes up from his nap and reassure him that Mom is coming and everything is ok. We love when we are tucking you into bed and you ask us to sing you a primary song. You sit and listen and stroke our cheeks and say "I love you Mommy" or "I love you Daddy always and forever"
Your words and speaking have gotten so much better as you've grown. We are proud of you but we secretly miss all the cute ways you would say things. We still get it a little bit though. When we say something like "You are such a pretty girl" you say "I are!". Or when you're talking about your baby you say "Her is crying like this 'wah wah'". Some words that you haven't quite figured out yet are as follows: new is 'ewn'; Kristan is 'Ristan'; picnic is 'picpic'; mop is 'mof'. You will soon figure them out and we'll miss those too.
