Russell is 4!

Russell Dee Colton! 

You are 4 years old!! You are our sweet, squishy, shy guy!

You started your first year of preschool! You love school but are always a little hesitant about it. Your teacher, Mrs. B, tells us that you always like to hold her hand during  "crazy circle time". You are our little shy guy but you are getting braver and braver as you grow. You are learning the letters in your name and how to write them. You brink the coolest things for show and tell like a measuring tape and a plumbing snake! You are such a big boy.

Some of the things you have done or seen this past year are: You potty trained and did such a great job! You dug for trilobites and fell and cut your hand but you were so tough! You toured the chocolate factory and tasted super dark chocolate. It made you sputter and gag, but you were brave to try it! You hiked to Mt. Timpanogous cave and were a little bit afraid once we were inside the dark cave. You went boating for the first time, but did not like riding on the tube or jumping in the water :). You rode horses, and held butterflies and saw dinosaurs at the museum. You went camping and fishing and swimming all summer and loved it all! You started preschool. You visited Aunt Nancy and  Grandma Anne in Idaho. You ate lots of cherries,  grapes and pears from the backyard. You played up at the Lake House and rode on the 4 wheeler and even got to drive! You helped mommy cook, read stories with Grandpa and watched Baba makes malts and tried your first one. You hiked to delicate arch and walked the WHOLE way and played in an awesome waterhole (Cowboy Jacuzzi). You fell in love with Legos, playing games and sledding, and had fun with your cousins up at Snydermill for the family reunion. You moved from the toddler bed into the a big boy bed for your birthday!

Your favorite color is orange. You love waffles and whip cream. Your favorite show is BLAZE and you got a Blaze birthday cake! You are best friends with Peter and play so well with him. When you are gone at school Peter always asked if it's time to pick up "Riyal" yet. You love to come in to mom and dad's bed and snuggle with mom in the morning. You are a Daddy's boy through and through! You love taking tubbies but not washing your hair. You are an awesome dancer. You love cars and dinosaurs and coloring with markers! You make us laugh and have the greatest smile!
