Thomas is 6!

Thomas Garhett Colton is 6 years old!!

Thomas, you weigh 44 pounds and are 44 in. tall!

Tom, Toma, Thomas, Tommy! You are a little firecracker! You are always up for a laugh, joke, or funny pose. You have a smile that melts our hearts with the cutest little dimple and a contagious laugh, especially when you are tickled!

You love to go to swimming lessons and are such a great swimmer! You have done gymnastics this year and could climb the robe all the way two stories up to the ceiling. You love to climb the rock wall at the rec center whenever you get the chance too! We think we'll try rock climbing classes next year! You LOVE to be outside, digging in the dirt or sand, finding bugs, jumping on the tramp, riding your bike, playing on the play set or playing in the water. You love to run outside anytime the neighbor kids are out play the evening away. All this playing only managed to put you in the ER 1 time. You had rigged a carabiner to your pants while doing the monkey bars and somehow when you went upside down, it snapped down and pinched your scrotum giving it two good cuts! But you checked out with no permanent damage and just some super glue.

While inside, you love to build things out of magnatiles, blocks or blankets and pillows. You love to build forts and hide out in them! You like to help mom cook and be a part of what's happening in the kitchen.

Thomas you excelled in kindergarten this year. You learned all your letters and sounds and how to write them too. You are also becoming such a good little reader. You were so diligent in doing your upstart computer homework everyday too! You made lots of new friends and your favorite part of school was recess! We are so proud of all you have accomplished in school. You are so excited to go to school all day long this fall!

Thomas, You have become such a great helper around the house. You get your chores done and work hard. You are so sweet to your sister and brothers. You often give up your snacks or seat or drink or whatever it is to make them happier. You are very thoughtful and loving. You love to snuggle with Mom and Dad at bedtime and love to read dinosaur books! You are always finding ways to serve like making mom and dad's bed or helping Abby fold her laundry. You get along well with your classmates. You are creative and fun and love to color rainbows. Whenever you see trash on the ground you say we need to pick up the litter!

We are so proud of the person that you are and love you just the way you are! Happy birthday buddy!
