Peter,
You are 7 months old!
What can we say about you this month!? You are such a delightful little baby! You not only are eating solid foods but you LOVE to eat. You just can't get enough. There hasn't been a food that you don't like yet! You also love to put everything and anything in your mouth, especially your binky. You will take it always and sometimes will stop nursing to put it in your mouth. You don't care what kind of binky it is either. You will take any kind!
You are a champ at sitting up all by your self and are now rolling from back to front more often! You are moving more in general and especially in your sleep. Mom caught you sleeping on your tummy early one morning! You LOVE to pinch and are always pulling out Abby's hair. (How can you resist?) You still can spark the saddest little sad face whenever you hear someone else crying or even singing in a low pitch tone.
You are SO smiley and happy most all of the time and just have the sweetest personality. We so needed that in our family right now. (Cause your to middle brothers are little grumps, especially Russell.) You love to see what's going on around you and will turn your head at any little noise. You love when your siblings play with and talk to you. You little feet start moving in circles and you hands too when you are happy and get excited!
Mostly you love when your siblings play with you, but, you are legitimately afraid of Russell at times. Sometimes you will flinch or wince when you see Russell even walking towards you. He loves to give the obligatory 'face squeeze' as he leaves your presence. )Almost like giving someone a high-five as you walk past them) You are such a good sport though and we're trying to work on Russell being nice and soft!
You LOVE the tubby. When you hit the water you splash and kick and giggle when the water splashes on your face. It is your happy place and SO dang cute!
You have the biggest, brightest BROWN eyes and everywhere we go strangers compliment you on your big beautiful brown eyes. We are quite fond of them too!
This past month you went on your first camping trip and did pretty well! You sat in your big boy seat in the stroller and also swung on the swing for the first time. You love being outside and playing with the kids. Abby and Thomas started school this past month so we are all getting used to a new routine and schedule. Hopefully we can have some more structured nap time for you during the day now that we're not on the go so much!
We sure love you Pete!! We can't imagine life without your sweet smile!
