My Sweet Russell,
You are 10 months old! We LOVE your sweet little smile and your LONG golden brown hair. We can't believe how old you are and just want time to stand still.
You are starting to be on the move. You are a CHAMP jumper in your bouncer, have learned to tolerate tummy time, - could we even say you like it now? - you will turn in circles and scoot backwards (in an attempt to move forward) while on your tummy. You are using your legs more but still don't love standing up on them. That will come, we're sure!
You are interested in EVERYTHING. You want to touch, grab and pull on anything you can get your hands on and it goes directly into your mouth! You love to be part of the party and grunt and move your arms and legs around when the fun is just out of your reach until someone picks you up and takes you to it. While you are nursing you will reel your head around at any noise, especially if that noise is your Daddy or Abby. You still LOVE your Abigail and she makes you laugh more than anyone else. You and Tom are becoming good buddies too. Tom is teaching you how to wrestle and to body slam!
Your comfort has always been mama. You've never really been too into your pacifier. You will sometimes suck on it, mostly when you're really tired, but your preferred use of it is just holding the nipple part in your hand.
Your second little bottom tooth poked through right at the beginning of this month and now you have two little bottom teefers that are coming in more and more and they are adorable, except when you try to bite mommy!
You have had lots of firsts this past month Russell. You caught your first cold (from those crazy siblings of yours - mommy caught it too), you had your first Thanksgiving, decorated your first Christmas tree, went downtown to see the Christmas Lights on Temple Square, celebrated your FIRST Christmas and went to lots and lots of parties!
We sure love you Russell Dee!
REALLY enjoying your first Candy Cane from Aunt Heidi (you were sucking it like a bottle)
