Abby is 5!

Abby,

You are 5 years old! It seems like just yesterday we brought you home from the hospital. You were the only little one in the house. Just the three of us! Now you are 5 an are such a big girl. 

You did awesome at your 5 year old check up. You got a flu shot and didn't even cry! You weigh 41lbs. and are 42 1/2 in. You are 50th% for height and weight and are just our average little thing! You are healthy and that's what we love!

You had a 5 year old Unicorn birthday party and did a scavenger hunt that was SO fun! You got to go ride horses and go to a Daddy Daughter Princess Ball! It was a Birthday to remember!

You are THE BIGGEST helper. You take care of everyone in this house; Mom, Dad, Tom, and Russell. You always know just what we all need. When mom is tired you try to take Russell so she "can have a break". Or when one of us lies down you run and grab a pillow and blanket for us.You also help to change Russell's diapers and feed him too. You are always playing with Tom and pretty much potty trained him yourself.

You are SO obedient. We have noticed that you like to please others. Knowing that your obedience makes mom and dad happy makes you want to do it even more. You are quick to help, and quick to follow directions and rules. You are also very repentant and say you're sorry when you don't quite do what you're supposed to. You are always choosing the right and making good decisions and we are proud of you.

You look out for your brother and for others around you. You like to make sure everyone is included and don't complain when Tom wants to tag along and play with you or you and your friends. You are so thoughtful and caring.

You LOVE to learn and are excited about preschool. You are in your second year of preschool and are also doing Upstart preschool.

You love everything Princess; LOVE to play house - you are always the mom. But you also love to be outside, play in the dirt, swing, ride your bike, and run around. You started your first tumbling/gymnastics class this fall. Your favorite shows to watch are Spirit, Princess Sofia and Daniel Tiger. You LOVE horses and riding them. You are a rock star hiker and love to go camping and sleep in a tent.

You are still your Daddy's little girl and have him wrapped around your finger! You two are the best of buds! You love when he tells you Sofia stories and sings Lumineer songs to you at bedtime.

We had the perfect summer and went on some fun trips. Your favorite was Yellowstone. We went hiking and slept in a tent and saw geysers and ate smore's. You loved every minute of it!

You are the Perfect big sister and oldest daughter and we couldn't be more proud of how kind, thoughtful, sweet and loving you are to those around you!
