You are 3 years old!! (or 'wee' as you like to say)
We can hardly believe it! You are a stubborn, sweet, feisty, forgiving, loving, little, mischievous, happy/angry little dude!
You love to play super heroes - batman is your favorite and you have matching jammies with Russell to prove it. You love to put them on and sing the Batman song (Na na na na na na na na na na na na Batman!) Playing house with Abby is a favorite as well. You are always the Dad or the baby and Abby is always the Mom. Hot lava - mom's family room pillows are your safety rocks to step on, and can flex your muscles so hard your arms shake and your face turns red. You know how to push ALL of Mom's and Dad's buttons and still don't like to sleep. (You wake up almost every night and make your way into mom's and dad's bed.) You also don't like to go to bed either, and would prefer to stay up and party! Although you are pretty good at taking naps at 4 in the afternoon and therefore aren't tired for bed! We just love your fun personality Thomas, and your creative imagination!
You are THE BEST cuddle-er and you are your Dad's #1 fan. You love to follow him around in the back yard and help him in the garden or mow the lawn or anything. If you could go to work with him you would in a heart beat!
You like to help mom in the kitchen with the cooking (especially when we're making sweet treats that you can taste). You also like to help clean the toilets. We'll see how long that lasts.
You are all of a sudden such a little boy and no longer our toddler. You've grown 3 in. in 1 year (36 in.) and weigh about 33 pounds.You have learned so much and are so smart. You can count to 10 and mostly say your ABC's. You are talking so much and are talking in full sentences. We love how you say some words. R's are tricky right now so you say led = red, loom = room, lussell/yussel = russell, yude = rude; nano = monster. Often times you say something that we can not understand. For example "bowda wibbs!" You tried so hard to get us to understand until finally one day you showed us. It means "spider webbs!" You LOVE to say 'boo-yeah' and say it when you are excited about things. You also LOVE to ask 'why?' You went through a phase where you said it constantly about almost everything!
Your happy place is in the water. The hose, sprinklers, puddles, the pool, squirt guns you name it and you love it. We just finished your fist round of swimming lessons and you did great - a little shy at the beginning but warmed up fast!
You are so tough and brave and love to try new things whether on the play ground or at the dinner table - even though you don't stay there too long because you are so busy. It's a wonder you are even growing at all when sitting still to eat is such a bother.
You love your siblings. You and your sister Abby play so well together and have so much fun! You love your brother too, but like to be a little rough with him sometimes and see how far you can go before mom says no. But you are so sweet with Russell as well and like to kiss him and play with him.
Learning to go Potty. You were potty trained a few weeks after you turned 3!!
