10 Months

Thomas,

You are 10 months old and are more handsome than ever!

You are such a smiley little guy - still an adorable toothless smiley little guy. You are on your way to getting teeth though. We can feel/see 3 teeth bulging in your poor sore gums but they haven't cut through yet!

You have made a MAJOR break through this past month Thomas. You FINALLY figured out how to sleep ALL night long! Mom and Dad are both so very thrilled and could not be happier! Mom especially feels like a whole new person now that she is getting more sleep. You are sleeping better all around too, at night at for naps! You love when Abby crawls into bed with you and you two are the sweetest together - the best of friends.

You're new sleeping habits may be a result of your busy days. You are so busy all the time; constantly reaching and grabbing for this or that. Now you have started to army crawl and are getting around more and more everyday.

Spring is finally in the air around here and you LOVE being outside. It's your first experience with warm weather and you're loving it. We put you outside on a blanket with a toy and you are perfectly content until Mom tries to bring you inside and you throw a fit until she brings you back outside. It's not hard to tell what you want!

You have always loved tubby time but now it is one of your very favorite things! When we start to run the bath water you get so excited and start to grunt and clench your fists in excitement! Once you're in the water it's all splashes. You LOVE to splash and splash and get water everywhere! It's so cute though that we can't get mad!

You love to talk and talk and have started to babble more and more. We love hearing your little voice. Thomas, you take after Mom and can give a great dirty look! They seem to be coming out more and more these days. You love meal time and feel like you should be eating too if anyone else in the room is eating.

We went to see the Baby animals at a near by farm. It was lots of fun, but we're not sure how much you loved it. You didn't really want much to do with the goats or the bunnies and you fell asleep on the hay ride. We had fun as a family though!

 

You had your first swimming lessons this past month. Mom and Dad and Abby all were in the lessons with you. You are still learning what swimming is all about but you sure do love to be in the water - until you had to put your head under the water. We'll keep working on that, Bud!

 

You celebrated your first Easter. You loved dying Easter eggs and we had to keep you from tipping over the dye cups. We got all dressed up for Easter Sunday and you looked simply adorable in your matching tie with Daddy! We think Abby enjoyed finding Easter eggs a little more than you but you had fun playing with them once they were found!

We went downtown with Aunt Kristan to look around at Temple Square and see the tulips. You and Abby went to see the big statue of Jesus. It was a really special day!
