Wednesday October 2nd, 2013... This was the day that my sister Janie's long awaited mission call arrived!
She didn't open it until Saturday October 5th so that everyone could be there to celebrate with her!
Can you tell that my mother is more than thrilled/terrified that Janie will be called to the China, or India, or well let's face it, anywhere other than the Nauvoo or Salt Lake missions... ;)
Everyone is gathered waiting for her to open the big white envelope...
...including the ones all the way in Texas via Skype. Isn't modern technology wonderful?

Sister Matheson has been called to the Calgary, Canada Mission and is scheduled to enter the Provo MTC on January 29, 2014.
We are so excited for you Janie! You will be the most amazing missionary! Congratulations!
