Thomas,

You are 8 years old! This is such a big year for you!

Thomas, you are such a funny guy. You love to make people laugh and love to tell jokes and pull pranks. Your teacher, Mrs. Himes told me all about how you would always joke with her and tease her. You are so fun to be around.

You love to be active and outdoors. You have gotten really good at rock climbing and love to go with Dad. Recently you have been learning to climb outside. It's a bit harder but you are doing great. You love to play outside in the dirt; digging holes and working with Dad. You and your siblings have been training for a triathlon. You are self motivated and want to get up and practice in the mornings. You are a great little swimmer and do great at riding your bike and running too!

Thomas, you have become such a good helper. You are so easy going and are quick to offer to help or ask me what needs to be done. You do your chores without complaining and even help your siblings get their chores done too! You are sweet to help with Peter and you two have become great friends!

Thomas, you make friends easily and love to play with others, but you also like to be alone sometimes. The recess duty at school has told me that you like to lay out on top of the woodchips in the corner of the playground and just relax by yourself! You are confident in yourself and we love that about you!

Thomas, you have such a tender heart. You recently wrote mom a sweet note and picked her flowers. You give great hugs and love to snuggle at night! You get got baptized this year and took that decision very seriously! You learned about it and wanted to be prepared for your interview with the Bishop! we are so proud of you for making this choice. You said you wanted to be baptized so that you could be a member of Christ's church, be an example to your brothers, and get the Holy Ghost to help you make good choices.

Thomas, you are very curious and you love to ask questions! You ask really good questions too. Right now you are really curious about the human body and how it works!

Thomas, we love you so much and are SO happy you are a part of our family!
