You are 6 years old! We can not stand that you are growing up so much. Where do we even begin!?
You are SO smart. You graduated from preschool and Upstart and are now you just started kindergarten! But because of Covid-19 you only get to go to school 2 days a week and home school 3 days a week. You are so ready for kindergarten though. You know your alphabet so well and are even reading short stories. We are SO proud of you and your hard work. You love to learn!
You are a natural leader and take care of everyone at home pretty well. You are such a good little helper and so obedient. You love to please and innately want to do good. You take care of your brothers like any good mother-hen would. They adore you and want to do whatever you do! You are going to be such a good helper when our new baby arrives, we're just so sad it isn't a girl. We wanted you to have a sister SO much but, alas, you get another "crazy brother". That's what you like to call them. But we know you will be the best sister and he will LOVE you like the rest of them.
You LOVE to try new things and are so brave. If there is a task that needs to be done you will try your hardest to figure out how to do it and aren't afraid to try. We Love that about you. You love to play outside and be in the dirt, fish, hike, and explore. You learned how to ride a two wheel bike this summer in just a couple of days! But you also love to be girly and play house and princess and have tea parties. You just started your first dance class and are so excited about it! Lately you want to be 'just like mom' and do you hair nice and put on make-up. Mom loves that you want to be like her! You love your Daddy and have the sweetest little bond with him. Good thing you don't have to share him with any sister ;)
You've had surgery this past year on your belly button and your back and you were a champ! You did awesome and everything healed up nicely. We think your favorite part was getting to keep a blanket from the hospital and getting to eat your meals on the couch while you watched a movie! Your summer has been a little out of the ordinary because of the Corona virus. We haven't done too much of our usual swimming and playing at the park or even play dates because we've had to be careful. But you are so resilient and found other ways to have fun and be imaginative at home with your brothers.
You love to read stories, and mostly poems. You are so creative and thoughtful. You are always making cards and drawing pictures for others to brighten their day or make them feel good when they are sad. You love to do arts and crafts and are friendly to everyone. You are such a great little independent player but you also love to have friends and cousins to play with too.
We love you peanut and are SO grateful you are leading our little pack. You are such an example of Christ like love and forgiveness and are such a good example to your brothers!
