Happy birthday Buddy! You are 4 years old! You are in. tall and weigh lbs. We Can't believe what a big boy your are!
You LOVE to be outside. You got a sandbox for your birthday and can play out there for hours. Or you love to ride your bike, play in the dirt, play on the swings or the trampoline. You are a super fast runner and love to show us how tough you are! You LOVE to swim Uncle Dallas's swimming pool and swim around with your floaties. You are getting so brave in the water. (But you are terrified that Dad is going to close the top on your siblings). You love building forts, reading stories, doing puzzles, and coloring (you have to color the entire page once you've started though). You are a big helper and love to help out with Mom and Dad's projects. You don't always love sharing with your little brother, but every once in a while you will do something super sweet and loving and we love to see that. One of your favorite activities is to go camping and fishing! You have your little fishing pole and love to cast a way into the lake and try to catch fish!
You are FIERCELY protective of your loved ones. Whether that is making sure no one is left behind when we're leaving anywhere, making sure no one gets trapped in the swimming pool, making sure they don't fall in the lake or get eaten by the lake monster, or making sure the yucky boys don't kiss your sister. You have our backs when it counts the most!
You are loving and sweet and love to give kisses and to 'snuggle'. You're bedtime routine is to make sure someone will snuggle with you in bed while you fall asleep. And if you wake up at night you will come into Mom and Dad's room and want to snuggle with us then too. You can also be a little tricky to handle and don't always like to do things by yourself - even when we know you can - like clean your room or put on your shoes. You are very particular about your socks and your clothes. But you are the cutest little turkey that we know!
You get to start pre-school this coming fall and you're excited to meet your teachers and have a backpack and go to school like Abby. You are learning things everyday. You know most of your letters and numbers. You are talking better and better but you struggle with some of you sounds like Rs and Gs and Fs and Vs. But you are working on them and getting better.
The past few months have been tough because of the Covid-19 virus. We've been stuck inside quite a bit but you are a trooper and have come up with fun things to do with Abby and Russell. You have to wear a mask everywhere outside in public and that gets tricky but you do a great job!
We are adding a new baby to our family and you are very excited. You really want a baby sister!
You are such a special part of our family and we Love you SO much!
