Thomas, our handsome little man, you are 7 months old. You are the sweetest little thing and full of life and laughter. We are thrilled to celebrate every little minute we get with you! One thing we love most about you are your mesmerizing blue eyes!! You truly do live up to your nick name of 'Handsome"
This past month was not too much fun because you got sick for the very first time! It was the saddest thing to hear you cough and to watch you look so miserable. But we had lots of great snuggles and tried to help you as best we could. You're a little fighter and came out of it after a few weeks! We are glad you are finally back to your happy self again.
You had a hard time liking your baby food when you were sick so we took a break from that for a while. But you're still growing so much. All of a sudden you're looking so old and so big. It makes us a little sad to see you growing so fast, but it's so fun to see all the things you're learning and doing. You are now rolling over much more and are starting to get the hang or rolling from your back to your belly. You love to play with your toys and to bounce in your jumper! You LOVE the 'Itsy Bitsy Spider' song, you can find your binky and put it in your mouth like a pro, and EVERYTHING within your reach goes right into your mouth. You still love playing with your toes and have now started sucking on them like binky. It's pretty darn cute!!
We've had to start over with the sleeping thing since you've been sick. That's been a little hard, for everyone. You're back to waking up multiple times during the night and taking short little naps. You're a very light sleeper. Every once in a while you will fall asleep on your own or in our arms (without us having to rock or bounce you) and we cherish those little moments!
You and your sister are best buds! She makes you laugh harder than anyone else, you play together, you sleep together, snuggle together, and you put up with a lot of 'love' from your sister. We love seeing you two together and love that you're such great friends!
There was a time a few months ago that you were a little afraid of your Dad. For some reason when he said hi to you, you would get a big pouty lip and start to cry. But, not anymore. It's all smiles and giggles when your Daddy walks into the room now. You and your Dad are becoming best pals!
Even though you were sick this past month we still had lots and lots of fun! We went sledding and played in the snow with the Matheson cousins.
You met Odie, Aunt Kristan's new puppy. You two are just about the same size!
We went to see the Ice Castles in Midway. You love it so much you fell right to sleep! Ha Ha
This past month your little personality is has started shining! We are learning that you are a sweet, loving, curious, easily entertained, content, happy, very lovable little man! One thing we've noticed is that you just like to be part of the party. If there is something going on you definitely want to know what it is and want to see and be a part of it! You don't want to miss out on anything and we love to have you be a part of it all. We absolutely adore you Thomas!
