Sweet Thomas,
You are 1 month old! It's crazy to think that 4 weeks have gone by already. It's hard to believe that a few days ago (the 21st) was your actual due date and you've already been with us for a whole month! Thomas, we like to call you our little angel baby. You are the sweetest, most good natured little boy and we love you! Managing two kids gets a little tricky sometimes so we are very grateful that you are such a good little baby. We have been very blessed to get your sweet spirit in our family!
You are growing so well. Everyday we look at you and see your cheeks getting a little bit chubbier and your double chin getting a little bit bigger! To us you're getting so chunky, but your still just a little guy.

You make your sister look so big! But she's not our baby anymore, she's our big girl because you're here now!
At your 2 week appointment you had gained almost a pound and you grew an inch and a half!
( 6lbs. 6 oz. and 19 in.) That 2 week appointment was a rough one for you. You are a little bit tongue-tied and had your tongue clipped a tiny bit to help you eat better. You also had your circumcision done, and had your second PKU test done and so they pricked your little heal. Mom has never heard you cry to much or so loud! You were so tough though and Mommy got to give you lots of snuggles afterwards!

You are a champion at breast feeding. You latched right on the first time mom tried in the hospital and have done awesome ever since!
You are just like your sister was and are a loud sleeper. We had to move you into your own crib and bed already (instead of the bassinet in Mom's and Dad's room). We all seem to sleep a little better since we've done that.
You are the sweetest baby. You never cry - unless you are REALLY hungry. (And that's usually mom's fault - when she gets busy doing things.) You usually just wake up and start to grunt and squeak a little bit, smack your lips together and suck on your fingers. It is the cutest thing! Usually at night is when mom hears a little squeal. Since you're in the other room and I am sleeping I can't always hear your little lip smacking and you have to let out a little squeal as if to say "Hey, Mom! Wake up, I'm hungry in here!" It is pretty dang cute though.
Your sister, Abby, loves you so much! She always wants to hold you and give you kisses and loves. She shows us she wants to hold you by tugging on you and then climbing up on the rocking chair with the boppy pillow and points to her lap. Every once in a while she can get a little rough with you though and we have to remind her to be soft.
But you're a good sport and we can tell that you love her too!
Celebrating the 24th of July at the Bountiful Handcart Days Parade with the whole Matheson clan at Grandpa Matheson's new Bountiful Law Office.
Thomas, we are thrilled to have you in our family and although this month has been a little difficult for Mom and Dad and Abby to get the hang of having another member of the family, we couldn't be more happy that you're here! We love you so so much!!

Your very first 4th of July! You are that tiny little thing in Mommy's carrier. You were only a week and a half old!
After your very first bath at home. We had to wait a while because of your circumcision. But it was so much fun when we finally got to bath you!
You got to spend some time with Great Grandma Matheson. She is an incredible woman Thomas!
It was fun to be able to dress you in preemie clothes (picture on right), although it only lasted for a few weeks because you grow SO fast!
Your first bowling outing. It happened to be your sister's first time bowling as well. You both had so much fun!
