7 Months!

Another month has flown by my Sweet Abigail. You continue to grow and develop and you light up our lives every day!

Life for you is getting back to normal. After our great vacation last month and then getting two colds back to back, you had a bit of a hard time adjusting back to normal life. But now you feel so much better and things are getting better. You started drinking from your bottle again and you aren't as scared of EVERYONE but mom and dad. You have been letting other people hold you more and more. Mommy and Daddy are grateful for that! You've also started sleeping better at night. You used to be really good at that, but the trip and being sick threw you off your groove. Nights are getting better, but Mommy can't wait for you to sleep ALL the way through the night again.

Last month we let you try some baby food and you weren't quite sure about. This month you have decided that you do indeed like it. You have started eating more and more and you get so excited about it! You LOVE sweet potatoes; apples and blueberries are so yummy; applesauce is okay - if you're in the mood; peas are not the that great - but you'll eat a little bit if you must; and green beans are bad enough to make you gag! We'll have to work on getting you to eat your 'greens'. They are pretty good for you, you know. And you still LOVE your milk!

You are sitting up all by yourself and hardly ever fall over anymore. You love to play with your toys, and anything that lights up and makes noise! You are so curious. You want to grab onto everything and examine it or put it in your mouth. You have started reaching farther and farther to get the things that you want, but no signs of crawling yet. Phew! Mom and Dad haven't baby proofed the house yet.

You have the most adorable little giggle and laugh and we hear it so so much these days. You are such a happy sweet baby. Most of the time you wake up from your nap and Mommy can hear you laughing and talking in your room. She thinks that you are playing with the Angels!

Along with your smiles and giggles you are starting to get a little opinionated. If you don't like something or are upset about not getting enough attention you let Mom and Dad know by letting out a little Screech. We're trying to teach you that it's not okay to yell; it's a work in progress!

You love to snuggle with Mommy, especially when you're tired and you love to play with your Daddy when he comes home from work. That's when all the fun begins!

We both love you so so much and couldn't imagine our little family with out you in it.
