6 Months

My sweet little Abby Cait! Happy 6 months old little one. You are officially half a year old. In the last 6 months you have brought so much joy into our lives and we love you so much!

Abby, you are a little over 14 1/2 lbs and are 25 in long. (You take after your mom and are a little on the short side) You are doing all the things a little 6 month old should be doing and the Dr. is so impressed with you.

You received another round of antibiotics and your 6 month check up and you handled it like a champ. You are just the cutest when you have that little pouty lip that turns into a cry when you get your shots.

So sad! Such a tough girl!

You are definitely a little Momma's girl. Mommy loves that you love her but sometimes it's hard when Mommy goes to work and you are fussy for all the babysitters. When Mommy gets home you smile and laugh and reach for her so she can hold you and it just melt her heart!

In the short time you have been 6 months old you have done SO much. For starters, you celebrated your 6 month birthday in the Beautiful island of Maui, Mom and Dad had this awesome opportunity to go to Maui with Grandma Lu and they let you tag along! (well really they couldn't imagine leaving you for a whole week so of course they took you with them!) You got to experience the ocean and the sand and see little crabs. You also got spoiled and got to try a Costco berry smoothie and some strawberries, and a little punch.

You didn't like the ocean, but you LOVED the warm pool!

We started feeding you big girl food too. You started out with a little Applesauce. You are such a big girl that you even wanted to hold the spoon all by yourself. You also really really want to know what mom and dad are drinking and try to drink out of their cups. You think you are SO big!

You also got sick for the very first time too. This part has not been fun at all! All you wanted to do was cuddle with mommy all day long. Mom loved that part, but hated that you were so sick!

Even though you were sick you wanted to help mom with the laundry!

You still love to play with your Daddy and go on walks in the back yard with him. He makes you laugh so hard! You have started to sit up by your self a little bit, but are still a little unstable. You love to have conversations with anyone, but mostly yourself, and Daddy when he gets home from work, about anything. We love to hear your cute little babbles and coos and see your very animated facial expressions when you are talking.
