1 Month Old

Well Miss Abigail,

You are One Month Old, already! We learn more about you and who you are every day. Every day a little bit more of your cute, feisty, adorable personality comes shining through and we love it.

In your first month you have certainly done a LOT of growing and completed a lot of 'Firsts'.

You've gone to your first Dr. Appointment:

At your 2 week appointment you had gained almost a whole pound and grown an inch. 

(6 lbs. 12 oz. and 18 1/2 in. tall)

You are definitely starting to put on a little fat. Your cheeks are getting chubbier and you're starting to get the cutest little baby rolls we've ever seen!

You had your 'first' BBQ with Mom and Dad in the back yard.

You had your very first bath (well your first bath at home).

You showed us your first smile (This is your little half smile, your real smile is even more adorable but they are hard to catch on camera).

You are also learning so much! You've learned how to breast feed. It was a lot of hard work at the beginning, but now you are doing so great. You are also learning how to sleep at night . . . you still have a lot to learn little one, but you're slowly making progress and Mom and Dad are so appreciative. Now if you could just learn to sleep a little quieter we would really enjoy that.

Mommy and Daddy are learning lots too little one. Daddy is learning that he loves to cuddle with you and fall asleep with you in his arms.

Mommy is learning to take naps while you are taking naps. She's also learning to deal with a messy house and that some things take so much longer to get done when you have a little baby who needs lots of attention. But she LOVES being home with you all day.

We are learning how to take care of you. You're a lot of hard work you know, but you are SO worth it! We learn from your pure and precious spirit every day that you are a gift from our Heavenly Father and we couldn't be more grateful! Our home and our lives are blessed to have your sweet spirit here.
